Bloodletter was a robot that competed in the Lightweight category at the first US Robot Wars in 1994. It had 4 circular saw blades for wheels and a retracting spear as its weapon. It is known to have only competed in the Lightweight Melee which it won, making it one of the few robots to remain undefeated. Philip T. Putman who built Bloodletter later competed in US Robot Wars 1996 with a Heavyweight walkerbot called Bloodletter Jr..
