Destructobot (also known as Whirrling Willy) was a lightweight robot which competed in Season 2.0 of BattleBots. It was a circular robot armed with two static thwacking axes. Destructobot did decently in competition, winning one fight.
Destructobot attempted to fight again in Season 3.0 under its Whirrling Willy alias, but it forfeited its only battle.
Robot History
Destructobot's first match was against Zugzwang. Destructobot moves towards Zugzwang, who seems to be circling around in it's square. As Destructobot makes its way across the arena, it suddenly turns back and was caught on the killsaws. The killsaws rips off one of Destructobot's side axe weapons and was still moving from the impact. Zugzwang stopped moving and was counted out. Destructobot won by KO without touching it's opponent and advanced to the next round, where it faced Sallad.
As Sallad charges straight at Destructobot, Destructobot couldn't move out of it's square. Sallad repeatedly slams Destructobot into the spikestrip and proceeds to hit it with it's spiked arm. After several hits, Sallad's spike gets wedged on the top of Destructobot and neither bot can move. Destructobot never moved during this match and was counted out. Sallad won by KO and Destructobot was eliminated.
Season 3.0
For previously entering Season 2.0, Whirrling Willy was allowed to skip the preliminary rounds of Season 3.0, where it eventually fought SnowFlake. However due to technical issues, Whirrling Willy never showed up and was forced to forfeit.
