Forklift was a competitor robot that fought in the Reserve Rumble in Series 2 of Robot Wars. It was a large orange, trapezoid shaped robot with lifting spikes made to resemble a forklift. It broke down early on in the Rumble and was axed several times by Shunt before Sir Killalot lifted it over the flame pit, burning out its electronics in the process. In Series 3, John Benton with his new team competed in the main competition with Forklift's Revenge.
Robot History[]
Having failed to qualify for the main competition, Forklift entered the Reserve Rumble. It was the third machine to drive into the perimeter patrol zone, after Lateral Thought and Malice. Forklift was subjected to multiple axe blows from Shunt, meaning that Forklift's orange shell was punctured severely. Then Sir Killalot picked it up, making the armour come loose from Forklift. Forklift's electrics were set alight on the flame pit before the armour fell off completely. Sir Killalot disposed of the destroyed Forklift in the pit of oblivion, with Jim Struts coming out victorious.
