Gyrax during the final season of BattleBots.
Gyrax was a superheavyweight robot that entered Seasons 3.0 through 5.0 of BattleBots. It was a tall vertical full-body spinner (the only one of its kind) which used flails (later axes) to do damage. It performed poorly in BattleBots, winning only two fights in Season 5.0 (one of which was by forfeit) and losing three times.

Gyrax's first ever fight was against Dawn of Destruction. Dawn of Destruction won on a close 24-21 judge's decision and Gyrax was eliminated.

Gyrax and Dreadbot attacked each other in a mad frenzy all through the match, there was a lot of aggression. Gyrax rolled right over Dreadbot and banged on it with its flails, and Dreadbot pushed Gyrax around. Dreadbot had the advantage, it got several good shoves, and slammed Gyrax into the wall once (and mainly attacking by the side, it avoided Gyrax's weapons). Also, Gyrax's clubs were only for show, no actual damage was inflicted. Dreadbot won a 34-11 decision.
