Reactore was a heavyweight robot that competed at Season 3.0 of BattleBots. Built and driven by a high school team from Plymouth, Massachusetts, it was a full-body spinner with a corkscrew-like blade going around the dome-like shell. Reactore lost its first fight to Botknocker-19, but did impressively in an exhibition battle against Chinkilla with several other student-built robots.
Robot History
Reactore's only fight in the heavyweight bracket was against Botknocker-19, but it was turned onto its side and lost by KO.
Reactore returned later on for an exhibition rumble against Chinkilla alongside Nibbler, SMD, Mordicus, teammate Gungnire, and General Gau. Reactore was the main force against their opponent, dealing severe damage to the flipping chin with its cutting screw. It is unknown which team won the rumble.
