Uglybot was a robot that competed in the British television show Robot Wars. It was a triangular-based pyramid shape which was painted grey with a mouth and eyes on the front. Its weapons were two 7" cutting discs and a cutting blade, but these weapons were never seen in action as it never made it past the Gauntlet.
Robot History
Uglybot was the last robot to compete in Heat B. Uglybot took the first route patrolled by the House Robots and immediately got stuck on the arena wall after leaving the turntable. Shunt came in to free Uglybot and pushed it into the corner. After getting stuck on the arena wall again, Uglybot was pushed back to the turntable by Shunt. The machine from Kent was eliminated after only covering 1.65m.
